Join one of Australia’s largest independently owned distributor of products for interior and exterior building applications from large commercial fit-outs to kitchen renovations across Australia and New Zealand.

Reporting directly to Operations Manager the Inventory analyst role is to manage the supplies and products coming inwards, oversee inventory management processes with accurate documentation and resolve any issues that arise.

Reporting directly to Operations Manager the Inventory analyst role is to manage the supplies and products coming inwards, oversee inventory management processes with accurate documentation and resolve any issues that arise.

Your duties will include:

  • Executing efficient and effective inventory management processes.
  • Monitor stock movements with accuracy and conduct timely investigation of all stock related issues including lost and misplaced products in accordance with the stock loss prevention plan.
  • Stockholding to be allocated correctly and promptly updated when product is re-located and/or stock quantities are out of alignment.
  • Work In conjunction with Warehouse Supervisor and Transport Supervisor to maximize operational efficiencies.
  • Forecasting future inventory requirements.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of systems, procedures and policies.
  • Manage all claims and disputes in a timely and professional manner, which includes investigate and reporting on findings.

The ideal candidate will have previous inventory experience, strong attention to detail, possess a can-do attitude, display a high level of initiative and have strong stakeholder engagement capabilities as well as advanced computer literacy with strong written and verbal communication skills.Experience M3 ERP software would be an advantage but not essential.
