Our client is seeking an individual that loves bookkeeping and wants to work in a relaxed creative and energetic environment and support their clients with all of their bookkeeping needs.

As the Account Manager (Bookkeeper), you will be responsible for providing Accounts / Bookkeeping support for their growing list of clients. Duties will include;

  • Day to day entry of accounts receivable and payable, petty cash, credit card statements, expense claim forms etc
  • Daily / weekly bank reconciliation
  • Drafting of invoices according to projections
  • Assisting with preparation of monthly reports
  • Maintaining and inputting data into WorkflowMax, Crunchboards and Xero
  • Maintaining electronic and hard copy filing

You will also be involved in Project Accounting work which includes;

  • Entry of all project based correspondence in either WorkflowMax or Xero databases
  • Generation of Project Reports
  • Generation of monthly invoicing for clients
  • Assisting with preparation of monthly reports

The ideal person for the role will be starting out their career and have formal qualifications in bookkeeping or accounting OR alternatively you may already have previous bookkeeping experience and bookkeeping or accounting qualifications.  You must also have excellent communication skills – both verbally and written, possess a ‘can do’ attitude, a willingness to pitch in and help the team to get the job done, be an independent thinker as well as have an energetic and positive approach to your work! Previous experience with Xero and WorkflowMax would be highly valuable but not essential.
